Firefirghters in Alexandria Virginia are currently fighting what was become a Five Alarm fire on the 2800 block of Poag St in Alexandria, VA in Fairfax County.

So far no injuries were reported at the scene, but it started in a sonstruction site slated for a future five-story condo building.

As of 10:45 AM the fire had spread beyond the construction site, and nearby townhouses were being evacuated.

The fire can be seen as far away Price George’s County and residents were saying ash was falling from the sky.

Dominion Energy reported about 800 power outtages in the area as of 11:50am and a neighbor told Fox 5 that the fire started in the sit’s trash chute.
