According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Atlantic County Animal Shelter will waive the $110 adoption fee for dogs next week. The move is in honor of the American Heart Month.
Fee’s will be waived starting Febuary 16th, 2020 and is valid for any dogs that are ready for immediate adoption.
All pets adopted from the shelter come with mandatory sterelization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip, and free a free vetrerinary consultation according to county spokeswoman Linda Gilmore via a news release.
Adopted dogs, are also able to attend two free obedience classes.
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville, NJ and is open every day from 1pm to 4pm daily, except Tuesdays, when it closes at 3 p.m.
