So many people get hit in this area. Do people not look both ways before crossing anymore or are drivers in NJ that impatient they cant stop to let someone cross they’ve got to hit them?
Scott Therrien a little of both…some walk on the shoulder of the road/cross busy highways because no sidewalk at night, in the dark, no reflective clothing on and some drivers don’t pay attention, drive to fast and can’t keep their eyes on the road. As a driver I feel it’s more my responsibility since I read about this happening so often to be more cautious at night cause last thing I want to do is kill or hurt someone while I’m driving.
Is it really that difficult to cross the street?????
In that area, yes.
Bry Pino people are like geese down there
Jon Dean I thought the same thing..
It was not at that intersection. It was down hickory by the development
????
Today to much speeding is being accepted. I see Leos monitoring traffic and not stopping those doing 15mph + over the limit. No signals is okay too.
It’s like playing frogger cross route 9 insane
Tommy Di Biase
Truth!!!
Quite honestly I think that often pedestrians think because they have the right of way they can dart into traffic and expect a vehicle to stop on a dime.
Slow down, 25 mph means 25 not 60
Maria Lawlor Quintana yeah, no enforcement on Maryland. Especially in the AM when the kids are getting on the buses.
Jason Gamba sit in our drive way for 5 minutes it’s like watching the Daytona 500
Maria Lawlor Quintana oh yeah, I see when we’re by the end of the trail
Everyone speeds around I see it daily.and I’ve made complaints nothing ever happens.just terrible that we have to worry when our kids play outside.
