Toms River: Near the intersection of NJ 37 @ NJ 166 for a pedestrian struck. Incident is near the Exxon station in the Eastbound lanes. The victim is unconscious and a Medevac is being requested.
Update: Hackensack Helicopter does not see LZ emergency crews and will land without them. Emergency Crews advised they will be at the LZ in a few minutes with pedestrian.
Update: 03:47 am. CPR in progress so there will be no medivac flight.
Every week it feels like there is a pedestrian hit there… my goodness hope they are ok ????

There should be a foot bridge over that intersection, so many people either walk/ride bikes to work in that area
