On Thursday January 23, 2020 at approximately 12:02 AM police units were dispatched to the intersection of Fischer Blvd and Matso Drive for reports of a motor vehicle accident. Richard Wisniewski, 55 of Toms River was traveling south on Fischer Boulevard in the right lane when his vehicle struck the curb just south of Matso Drive, then a fire hydrant, a street sign, and finally a utility pole before coming to a rest at the base of the pole.
Mr. Wisniewski was checked by Toms River EMS and refused further medical attention. He was issued a summons for Careless Driving. The accident is being investigated by Toms River Police Officer Dan Burke.

Francine Weiss-Tymesko no i was coming home at around 930pm but who knows i couldn’t even go passed the guy to see he was driving worst than i ever saw anyone driving before … it was down fischer going towards hooper, ran me and a bunch of other cars off the road and decided to drive on the opposite side of the road and then when he got in front of us was playing crazy games like slamming on the breaks in hopes we hit him and kept going back and forth between the 2 roads so no one would go passed him . He almost killed me one time he slammed on the breaks scared the shit out of me….i wouldnt doubt that he went back onto fischer after he turned onto hooper ave going towards the mall. Tried to get a good license plate but it was blurry :/
