David Stebner We lost our youngest son 3 years ago after a 10 year battle with addiction. As difficult as it was for our son, it was also heartbreaking for us to watch him struggle with his addiction. He was a good person, never ever hurt anyone; we are a good family and never imagined we would lose one of our children this way. Addiction does not discriminate! I know far too many who have either struggled with addiction themselves or watched a loved one do so. Anyone on here who has a callous comment to make clearly has no idea what addiction is; and they must also be blessed to be among the few who have yet to be touched by addiction in some form or another. To you, I say Congratulations for being almost 1 year sober. And I hope and pray you are one of the lucky ones to make it all the way through to keeping sober! Much luck to you and stay strong!
