   So here’s the thing I don’t understand why do people say take the Narcan away what would you say if it was a loved one on drugs where’s the compassion for one another nowadays that’s what’s wrong with this world today no one cares anymore sad

     what should we do were not the ones overdosing.some of us work 6 days a week to provide for our families and dont have time to pity someone who does this repeatedly

     Patrick Ritchie thats the truth , no one cares . But people will comment just to argue thats caring out there . A life is precious no matter what form it is , people have forgotten this . Yes its very sad .

     Patrick Ritchie it’s not that people don’t care, it’s that this is happening a few times a day, sometimes with the same person. It’s more of a desensitizing. There needs to be mandatory rehab because bringing people back to life repeatedly is not fixing the problem.

     Wendy NiHuiginn but mandatory rehab costs way more than narcan! Narcan saved the life of many people I love who are really good people and gave them a chance to find recovery. I’ve also lost some exceptional people and none of them deserve to die

     Michael Phillips that comment is nonsensical. What does how many days you work have to do with anything? Nobody asked for your pity. You aren’t out there in tbe streets giving them narcan are you? You don’t pay for it either .

     The problem starts with the enablers who continue to call it a disease. Drug addiction is a choice that ultimately turns into a bad decision. Everyone reads social media everyday and knows how destructive these drugs are but yet still make the choice to pick up. There is so many resources now then years past to stop the addiction but those who need it dont bother to seek it. My personal belief is Narcan is just another way of enabling the problem, granted I would never want to see anyone die but the vicious cycle of coming back to life isnt the answer either. The state needs to open up more long term rehabilitation centers to give those who struggle a strong foundation to build on.

     Gerri Ann Eichele but it didn’t fix the problem. Bringing people back to life repeatedly is not good for their health either. You want to save their life you put then in rehab period.

   But narcan isn’t free. You act like receiving medical treatment is free and I’m not sure where you got this idea from. Sure, if you don’t pay your bills it’s free but that’s true about Everything, not just drugs.

   For all you pieces of shit wishing death on someone’s son or daughter I hope and pray you NEVER have to feel that pain of loosing a loved one that way! Although I despise you I wish you never know that pain and educate yourselves. I’ll be going to a funeral this week and I’ll watch a mother mourn her son and a 10 year old girl pass Christmas lights on the way to her daddy’s funeral. Statistics say you’ll all feel this and I pray you don’t

     Sharon Lynn Huber & Meghan Turner I’m sorry I have lived the addiction life with family members and it was THEIR CHOICE to stick that needle in their arm or snort up their nose
     NOT MINE … by the umpteenth time there is nothing you can do to help
     Its THEIR CHOICE
     If they want to stop the addiction they need to seek the help
     Narcam is just an enabler to let them continue the cycle with no consequences
     Like I said I’ve been through it with loved ones and am AGAINST this Narcam bullshitn
