This morning at 10:21 we were dispatched to a dump truck vs building at the South Freehold Shopping Center. The building was opposite of Shop Rite. The truck traveling on the Route 33 bypass went off the road, down an embankment and into the back of the building. There is only one store in business on that side of the shopping center. One minor injury to the driver and he was transported. No injuries to anyone in the store. We would like to thank all of our mutual aid companies for their response. Adelphia Fire Co. , Asbury Park Fire Department, Freehold Township Independent Fire Co. #1., Monmouth County Haz Mat.,Freehold First Aid Squad. The Monmouth County Fire Marshall’s Office and FTPD also responded. We cleared the scene at 2:24.
