Why don’t people lock their vehicle doors before bed?
On Saturday November 9, 2019, the police department received reports of motor vehicle burglaries at residences on Woodbury Drive which is located off of Monmouth Road (CR 537) in the northern part of the Township.
Multiple unlocked vehicles which were parked in the victim’s driveways were entered and money and gift cards were stolen.
This is a reminder for residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and lock the doors, even when parked in your own driveway. If you observe suspicious activity in your neighborhood, please contact police dispatch at 732-928-1111 as it is happening so available officers can be dispatched to investigate.
Anyone with further information about these incidents are asked to contact Police Officer Darin McClain at 732-928-1111.
