Voorhees: Workers at the Voorhees Animal Orphanage are pleading for the safe return of a 12-week-old puppy that was stolen from the shelter on Saturday.

In a Facebook post, the shelter said no questions will be asked if the puppy is returned safely.

Workers believe the female puppy, named Phoenix, was taken by a woman in a white car.

“We hope the person that did this, or their friends or family who notice the new pup, see this post and do the right thing and return this puppy,” the Facebook post said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Voorhees Police Department.
