LACEY – An investigation into the theft of a cell phone led to a woman’s arrest on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Township Police Officers Michael Hein and Daniel Ricciardella were investigating the theft of a cell phone at 332 Route 9 South.

During the course of their investigation, the suspect, identified as 40-year-old, Patricia M. O’Connor of Millmay, was found not only to possess the stolen phone but a quantity of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana and hypodermic syringes.
O’Connor was processed and charged with possession of a CDS, possession of hypodermic syringes, possession of 50 grams or less of marijuana and possession of stolen property.

She was transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility.
