If the junkie dies, then the dealer dies. Plain and simple. No appeals process, no tax payers paying the room and board at prison. A friend of mine buried his son on Memorial Day weekend a few years ago. He died from heroin. They didn’t know the dealer. Then five months later his wife lost her battle with cancer. No family should have to go through this. Get the junkie help. If they refuse help or just yes you until they are blue in the face. Then so be it. You tried. Once again, we need a federal law. If the junkie dies, the dealer dies. After a few dealers get the chair, maybe the ones who are left will chose different employment
