We have been informed of a heavy police presence on Great Bay blvd . The Ocean County Regional SWAT Team which is made up of many local Police departments from Ocean County and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department have responded to the location . We do NOT know what the nature of the incident was and do NOT know the outcome of the incident. But as of this posting the situation has been resolved and units are clearing the scene . We will NEVER put our POLICE OFFICERS in any jeopardy or danger while the scene is active . We will only post information once we know the incident is over for the safety of the Officers .

A man shot himself over a breakup with his girlfriend. She wasn’t in the house. The police received a call where he said, tell her I’m sorry, and he shot himself. Police didn’t know the situation, just hearing a gun go off so they called swat. I know first hand cause they were all in front of my house til midnight.
