PRESS RELEASE-BRICK TOWNSHIP HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Brick Township Chief of Police James Riccio announced today that the victim of the homicide that occurred on Acorn Drive in Brick Township on Saturday, September 7, 2019, has been identified as Mark Richard Austin, age 55, of Brick Township. This investigation is ongoing.

Would be nice to know if they know who the murderer is. Have they been detained, arrested, on the loose, etc. I live right down the street and need to know if we have a killer loose in the neighborhood or it was a domestic incident.

This shows you the lengths the chief will go to keep the truth from the public. Brick has plenty going on yet they do everything they can to keep the public from knowing how bad things are getting. And I’m not basing it solely on this incident. They have a pattern of keeping the actual crime stats from the public.

Jer Konkus yes and then it went down hill immediately after. Statistically getting worse year after year. Now the PD appears to be going out of their way to keep the public from knowing. Politically directed is my guess.
