Seaside Heights: Casino Pier- RP wants to make a police report for an individual who was allegedly taking photographs of their child(ren).
Remember- When on public property you can photograph anything you wish. The Pier is private property; so we’re not sure how this will pan out.
When there is a group of ‘so many’ people, you dont need permission. But I dont remember the magic number.
I mean, if they’re taking pics of just kids. That’s fucked
I think the courts have ruled when you are out in public, there is no expectation of privacy. That’s how paparazzi get away with it.
The pier is publicly accessible, that means its open to the public. So yes, the first amendment applies
Chief of Security for Casino Pier is a retired jail guard for the State of NJ. He is well aware of the laws for private property. Yet Casino Pier does nothing about sex offenders roaming on their property. So much for our family friendly place!! The entire town is infested with sex offenders, instead of the town council worrying about how to pad their pockets maybe they should take this problem seriously.
