Somewhere in the bay near LBI was an earlier boat Fire. The Fire has been extinguished and all occupants were rescued safely. Now the boat has sunk and is leaking fuel into the water. The captain of the yacht estimates there were about 60 gallons of fuel onboard.
NJ DEP is being notified in regards to the incident.
Boat is at 24th Street beach at a bulkhead on the bayside.

Since when is an 18 foot boat that does not hold 60 gallons of fuel considered a yacht? This is false. I was right next to this as it was happening

You tell ‘em Steve! And almost all of the fuel had burned off before the fire department was even engaged!
