On Tuesday July 30th the Brick BOE will be holding a Special Meeting to approve a change in resignation date for Gerard Dalton from September 24th to August 1st.
They will also be approving the appointment of HR Director and Former Math Teacher/Supervisor Sean Cranston to Interim Superintendent as of August 1st. Sean Cranston will continue to received his HR Director Salary of $123,396 plus $184.23 per day to be acting Superintendent.
This also according to an agenda released by the BOE for the Special Meeting being held on Tuesday. Tuesday’s meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Professional Development Center at the Veterans Complex on Hendrickson Avenue.
can someone..well who ACTUALLY knows why…why does a superintedent make so much…not like they do very much except for the occasional meeting to run

Mr Cranston is an amazing man and one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. He will do a great job and should be named the permanent superintendent
Alex Adamek hopefully a very thorough search will be conducted in particular because of the number of Superintendents the Township has had in a short period. Also the town is paying a firm $11k to conduct the search
