Between 5:08pm and 5:18pm 2 overdoses were reported by Sunrise Detox. The first Male that overdoses snorted a wax fold of “Spiderman” Heroin and was administered 4 doses of Narcan by Sunrise Detox.
The second male overdose was within minutes of the first. He was found on the bathroom floor bleeding from a head injury. He injected 2 wax folds of “Spiderman” Heroin.
Both were transported to the Hospital by EMS.
Date of both incidents was May 11, 2019

Unfortunately this happens at ALL facilities… People go on one last hurrah and go to detox so shot out that they have to be rushed to the hospital. But there are people there also who are forced to go by family and really dont want to stop. So YES they will do whatever is necessary to get drugs in. They are searched but they will do whatever is necessary to sneak it in. I know alot of people who have went there and have significant time. But like any facility when the student is ready the teacher will appear.. I had to fall alot lower than this insurance requirement facility…..
