POINT PLEASANT BEACH – A smoke shop employee was charged with selling nicotine products to under persons.
Point Pleasant Beach Police detectives conducted an undercover operation at Noble’s Smoke Shop on July 13. The police had been receiving complaints that the shop was selling vaping products to underage customers.
“Three undercover personnel were utilized all of whom were able to purchase vaping products underage,” Point Pleasant Beach Police Chief Joseph A. Michigan said. “The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department will continue to be diligent in enforcing the laws regarding the sale of e-cigarette and vaping products to persons under the legal age to purchase.”
The unnamed employee was charged with three counts of selling nicotine products to persons under the age of 21.
