Beth Chapman along with her husband Duane “The Dog” Chapman rose to fame with their popular TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter documentimg the couple along with many of their children Bounty Hunting. Beth was the youngest woman at the age of 29 to be licensed as a Bail Bondsman in Colorado until her daughter Lisa Chapman was licensed at the age of 19.
Beth was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer in 2017 endured surgeries as well as chemotherapy treatments. In 2018 she was non compliant with her Drs recommendations and had pursued alternative treatment.
She passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 51
Her husband Duane made this statement on Twitter this morning:
“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Tim Cairns I watched a news program that said she was terminal and Didn’t want to do the chemo therapy anymore because it was poison in her body. She wanted to feel as good as possible in her last days. She was always after Dog to quit smoking so he could be healthy and then she winds up dying of cancer. So sad. Life is short. Live love and laugh
I believe she knew she was terminal. Many people seek other care when there is no hope..

She underwent aggressive chemo treatments. She was cancer free & it came back. I have seen first hand what the chemo can do to someone. It doesn’t always work. It made her very sick.
