I’ve been around it a long time in my life and I work with these people. There is no “JUST STOP USING” . I’ll laugh at you when someone like me or anybody in that field is helping your loved one get clean or sober while you sit there knowing nothing. Matthew T Ford trust me. I’m literally the story that DIDN’T INCLUDE a sad ending in A LOT of my family and friendships. I know why I DIDN’T go down that path. It’s what I saw and experienced. I formed an opinion on how I WANT my story to play out. Noooo the whole story didn’t pan out in the end. But i never became a junkie or chose that life. I chose not to. I watched people make the other choice…I can’t even fathom who, what, where, when, why or how…you know… ask these questions you are taught to ask innnnn idk.. I’m thinking 1st grade.
Your life is your story.. you kind of write it. There are a questions you need to ask and answer before writing your script… you will need to change scenes sometimes accordingly…but you choose the degree to which you improvise.
And trust me… I’m not an innocent. Never been there. Never done that person. There’s being a young adult and being a moronic self destructing idiot with a weak mind and self destructive attitude. Neglectful of anybody else’s life or needs. Selfish….
