     Laser pointers dont blind pilots and im pretty sure ISIS isnt on the beaches of the jersey shore so yes, is it wrong to do but come on. Smack them upside the head and call it a night

     Seriously? It’s a FEDERAL crime! It absolutely does blind them like high beams do to a driver on a dark road. Here’s the statue wording: Whoever knowingly aims the beam of a laser pointer at an aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States, or at the flight path of such an aircraft, shall be fined under this title {maximum of $250,000} or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

     The 9-11 hijackers lived in NY and NJ for years. The truck that exploded in the parking garage of the trade center was rented in NJ. Read this link they’re called stinger missiles 2 man, shoulder fired, heat seeking, good to 30,000 feet. So yea, shit like this is taken pretty serious. I wonder how you’d be if your family were on those flights ?
