Severe Thunderstorms ripped through Ocean County Tuesday night, causing severe damage in several areas. Golf ball sized hail was reported in Manchester and Tornadoes were reported to have touched down in Whiting and Neptune. Several trees and wires came down causing multiple power outages and traffic concerns. There were also reports of homes being struck by lightning.

Linda Richardson Bottani I live in Whiting we Had downpours lightning and I was out on my porch filming it no tornadoes that I see in that picture is definitely a Sandy related picture
