TOMS RIVER – It was an insulin pump.
A beeping sound coming from a garbage can in the Donovan Catholic High School lead officials to evacuate the school this morning.
Police were called in, who determined the sound was coming from a discarded insulin pump found in that garbage can.
Students were able to return to classes shortly thereafter, officials said.

It’s an OmniPod. You dispose of it every three days. If you don’t then it lets out the terrible screeching noise if not disposed and deactivated properly ?
