Barnegat: [Location Withheld]- Mom called PD to report her 12 y/o daughter is out-of-control due to her being upset over getting suspended from school today. Mom says it is only a verbal domestic, no alcohol or weapons. The juvenile is now inside her room throwing stuff around. Mom would like an officer to come talk to her daughter about this incident.

However, if you want to throw your belongings- it shows you don’t deserve them. Maybe just providing the essentials for a week will make the child appreciate items more?

This is more of a Performcare situation. They have a mobile crisis unit just for these situations.

I just hate reading the comments to these posts. It sounds as if it has escalated into a meltdown. A child is not in control anymore during a meltdown, they are experiencing a crisis and need help. Some of these people are suggesting hitting a kid or whooping their butt as they are having mental health break down.
But a lot of people don’t understand that a meltdown can be scary and overwhelming for a parent who doesn’t know what to do unless they’ve been through it over and over.
I wish more parents were aware of performcare. They have been a life saver for my family.
This is what is wrong with this world. You don’t call the police on your own kid! Learn how to discipline and and keep your kids in check. People today man, step up and be a parent!
