??URGENT!!! PLEASE READ!!! ??
To all my friends who live in the Tinton Falls area and anywhere near the Walmart in Neptune. Last night at around 10 PM, Garden State veterinary hospital took our dog, Kinder, out for a walk and lost her.
She was sedated, in pain, and very scared when we last saw her late in the afternoon. She’s missing part of her jaw bone because she had to have an operation done. She is scared of people but she’s approachable and very gentle. She’s wearing a bright green paper collar with her name on it.
Police are aware she’s on the loose. Please call them if you see her anywhere. Please drive carefully as we don’t know where she could be by now.
I just want my baby girl home… please help us…?

UPDATE: We put traps out, we are hoping to spot her now. She’s in survival mode, so she will run if she sees you. ? Do NOT chase her please!!! ? Just let us know where you saw her in the comments and tag me in it so we can find her.

10pm is when she got loose… I really think whoever took her out underestimated her ability bc of sedation.. They should have at least had her on some type of leash.. I guess no one ever walks their dogs at night and no one has ever had them get away. I can’t count how many lost pets I see posted every day, I guess all those owners should be in jail too, I mean they let their own pet get out.

Jennifer Sardo Catusco The difference is, they were being paid to keep the dog safe. If a dog is properly leashed, it won’t get away. Unless, someone drops the leash. How hard is it to hang onto a leash. I can’t remember if they have a fenced area, but if they don’t, why the hell don’t they install a fence. The Scavellis paid 2.3 million for their home in Colts Neck. I think they can afford a fence for their hospital.

Or Kinder passed post opt due to malpractice and they’re trying to find a way to save their asses… Who walks a sedated post opt dog outside.. at night. It would’ve been safer inside, incase complications occured during the walk.

Cheryl Csepi it doesn’t. Why would you walk a post opt dog, that late outside? There is no fence installed so walking at all hours is dangerous. It makes sense to walk around the office, that way you also monitor them for any signs/symptoms of distress. How can you see that way at night. Something is very very fishy.
They don’t have a clue what they are doing… About 6 years ago I brought my pit there (he passed 2 yrs ago age 11) bc he was severely dehydrated and couldn’t hold anything down. They pumped him with fluid and kept him over night, took a x-ray 4000 later (I left nothing out. Iv fluids, glorified babysitting and x-ray). They found nothing sent him home. Come to find out he had worms… We bought him dewormer for 20 bucks. ummmmm… never again
I’m thinking the same thing. They are hiding something. So sad to put the family through this. Dont get me wrong, I hope they are telling the truth…but it’s just not sounding right to me.

That was Not true,,, I was coming from Barnegat and Lakewood have been closer to my home, when I asked them if Lakewood was open they said No, that they where the only Emergency vet opened,,, my cat was have seizures, and I had to put my baby down!!! Very disappointed they lied to me! I found out the next day Lakewood was open on Xmas as well!!!!’ ??

After 5 minutes, the pet’s temperature will rise and they can die. My dog almost died after a seizure… her temp went up to 108. This woman was driving north from Barnegat, so finding the closest emergency vet was critical. Perhaps the only number she had with her was GSVS. If you are flying up the GSP, you really can’t start a research session. In any event, knowing that it was a seizure and time was of the essence, they should have offered to look up the number, so that she could double check and shave 25 minutes off her trip. It’s called compassion.

1 1/2. Never forgave them. Came home having seizures.
i’m so sorry. they had my cat once for a procedure they are the only game in town for. told me daily that she was fine while she was in procedural isolation for the week following the surgery. mom’s intuition told me otherwise. cat comes home and isn’t eating. i call them. “…well, she wasn’t eating in recovery….” WTF
