Jackie Keller Wurdemann people drive 85-90 on every highway in NJ. Speed limits are often antiquated and not indicative of today’s roads and vehicles. Unfortunately not all drivers are capable of driving in a straight line lol.

Just passed at 1:25pm and what was left was horrible! I broke down crying. A sight you just don’t forget – a baby seat on the road by the car. This is one of those times I would say this picture shouldn’t be posted. ???
Roberta Staples Cartwright I saw it too. Just like you described. We were inching along. Saw the remnants of the car and thought omg but when we saw the baby seat lying in the road we lost it. Prayers don’t seem like enough but it’s all we can do.

We should not assume that they were texting or speeding, a car can be turned over at 65 miles an hour as well, if hit the right way, what we should be doing is praying for the people and families involved and hoping everything is well in the long run

If left lane dicks stay out of the left lane most of the crap you see there wouldn’t happen, its funny some ahole with NY plates will stay in left lane ignore people flashing at them etc and stay at 64 mph for miles. Remember the left lane is to pass. Pretty simple rule.

We passed it what a mess
1) it may not have been speed, inattentive driving or driver error. We need to wait till reports come out.
2) for all those that ignored the express lanes closed that were posted, even down past Brick, and those that cut over from the local lanes to express because there was no traffic…I passed you in the local lanes as you waited and your ass-o’s!!!

State Police Investigate Three-Vehicle Crash that Injured Several People
The New Jersey State Police are investigating a crash involving three vehicles that left one man with serious injuries and several others with non-life-threatening injuries earlier this morning in Aberdeen Township.
Based on the preliminary investigation, at 11:02 a.m., Nicholis C. Alfano, 35, of Hazlet, N.J. was driving a 2006 Jeep Cherokee southbound on the Garden State Parkway in the area of milepost 119.4 when he ran off of the roadway to the left, crossed over the grass median, entered the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway where he stuck a 2014 Honda Pilot. As a result of the collision, debris from the Jeep struck a 2014 Honda Accord in the left lane of the northbound roadway.
Nicholis Alfano sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital. His passenger, James J. Cotugo, 42, of Union Beach, N.J. sustained moderate injuries. The driver of the Honda Pilot, Stephen Roberson, 59, of Union Beach, N.J. sustained moderate injuries. His passengers, Nasir Augustin, 11, Lyric P. Augustin, 7, Samir Harding, 8, Harmony G. Browne, 16, Denim Roberson, 13, and Maya Roberson, 13, all of Brooklyn, N.Y. sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda Accord reported no injuries.
The northbound express lanes were closed for approximately three hours. This is preliminary information only, and the cause and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. There is no additional information at this time.

Whatever caused the accident distant matter at this time all that matters is everyone survives I passed by this vehicle and it was soo badly mangled you couldn’t even tell what kind of car or truck it was my prayers to the victims ??
