Toms River: Before there was the crowded Crossroads Center at the corner of NJ 37 @ NJ 166, there stood the Dover Mall. It was home to Bradlees, Wolfies, Consumers, Staples, Shop Rite, Marshalls, Movie Theater, and much more. Today we take you back to the demolition of the plaza in February of 2011.

I remember it. I also remember that there was two movie theaters in brick. One was at ihop is now and the other is where harbor freight is. That one still has that sign up but covered with harbor freight sign over it.

Ryan Turr there were also two other movie theaters in Toms River. One on Rt 37 in the back of where Bob Kislin’s was and one downtown in the building where Brooklyn Bistro is. And I just remembered the drive in across from the baseball fields off Fischer.

It was called Price Rite, not Shoprite! They had the yellow, black, and red colors too

Two things: Anyone remember when Shoprite was called Price Right? What ever happened to the shoe repair man in that strip mall?

So miss those places, especially Bradlees and Wolfies!
Fortunoff’s was in that plaza also…I miss Bradlees…Never went to Wolfies after they moved…There was a Big and Tall Man store and a small Irish store in the plaza…WOW….memories…
Military recruiters were in there too, and a great cigar shop.
