Jackson: During the 04:00 hour this morning, a vehicle was driving on Sixty Acres Boulevard by Atrium Way. The driver then fell asleep or passed out, and drove into the rear of 1101 Fern Court. The operator of the vehicle was a 24 y/o male who claims he fell asleep and crashed into the residence. There were no injuries to the driver, nor occupants of the residence. Upon further investigation, Jackson PD determined the contributing factor of this accident was Driving Under the Influence of drugs or alcohol. The police arrested the driver on suspicion of DWI/DUI. No names were available for release at press time.
