Wild driver in a blue Ford Edge on Rt. 72, eastbound, described as “all over the road,” elderly male, wrong side of the road at a speed of 28 mph, units in pursuit. Driver halted, diabetic emergency for the driver, EMS hailed.

I’m happy they got him and he didn’t hit or kill anyone. My friends and I are the ones that called 911 he drove head on into our lane and almost hit us. Thank god for Barnegat Pd getting him and stopping something tragic!
