Last night multiple posts showed up in Lacey Township Chatter. They had videos of a male, walking around trying car doors, and trying to get in. A cry went out from citizen to citizen begging everyone to take caution.
Thankfully the person seems to have been found, as per Lacey Township Scanner News:
Last night, Jason Lee Jurczyk was arrested outside the Wendy’s on Route 9 in Lacey for the following:
- BURGLARY-ENTER – 2C:18-2A(1)
- THEFT BY UNLAW TAKING-MOVE – 2C:20-3A
- VIOLENT BEHAVIOR – 2C:33-2A(1)
He is apparently Single, White, and has “GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL” but no other information is available at this time, other than he is held with No Bail.

Looks like the guy who claimed he was living in the woods with his father in a tent in the area of the Ramada off rte 9 in the Lakewood/Toms River area. I posted his mug shot and he vanished. He was suckering women into bringing him all sorts of supplies. Claimed he was about to start a job and just needed a little help for a week. Yet the claim was week after week. His arrest was for domestic violence and why he was homeless in the first place.

There was a bunch of women defending him and claiming he was just down on his luck. They were bringing blankets into the woods, lots of food and propane among other items. I think he was even asking for cigarettes. A look at his arrest record will show you he’s a career criminal and just a scammer. Beware ladies.

Patrick Romano If you look up his arrest records-He has a sexual assault charge against him from 2013. This is no joke. Hes been doing this shit in my town-I confronted him at one point and he went off his rocker.
Neil Courtney you have to figure he’s only caught a fraction of the time so how many more crimes is he committing? He blocked me but I can tell you to pass on his location to the police. If he’s asking for food he offers to give his location and meet up. They can check his possessions for stolen property.

I know where hes been staying, but last time I saw him was a week ago and he had all these bags, waiting at the bus stop like he was finally leaving town. Haven’t seen him around here since.

This is the scumbag thats been breaking into homes in Bass River Township. If you look up his record, hes done this many, many times before yet hes allowed to roam free after a few days in jail.

He was staying with a friend of mine used them for everything they had and eventually things got so bad they had to kick him out. They tried helping him and putting him in a Better situation to get back on his feet and he messed it all up for him self. He was not only stealing from cars he was stealing from stores all the way from Burlington county to ocean county. He’s even on drug court. He apparently would steal things from change purses , to shoes , to even expensive jackets. Apparently most of it was in Tuckerton/Mystic . Not only that these friends told me he would go behind counters at wawa and steal multiple packs of cigs in the Manahakwin and Mystic area.
These friends have witnessed this first hand because he would come back and brag about what he’s done. They gave him a chance to knock it off and get a job and be a better civilian and he just kept doing it. I felt bad one time took him to the store as I was at my friends and he robbed wawa that’s how I know certain things as well and I immediately pulled over my car when I realized what he had done and screamed at him telling him that I wanted nothing to do with what he was doing and left him on the side of the road. I’m not getting in trouble for someone else’s stupidity. I’m a good person and so are my friends and all he did was ruin things for him self.

Maria Caballero I know a detective came to the house looking for me and I had to go the police station. He stole a gift card with my name on it and my church bag. Your uncle found my bag behind la plaza and the detective gave me the card that they found in his room she said
