On Febuary 5th. 2019 members of Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, and the Ocean Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle being operated by Daniel Maciejewski (20, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey) in Ocean Township. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately two pounds of marijuana, 400 THC vaping cartridges and 100 hand rolled marijuana cigars. Maciejewski was placed under arrest and transported to the Ocean Township Police Department.
A search of Maciejewski’s residence in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, resulted in the seizure of an additional eight pounds of marijuana, approximately 700 THC vaping cartridges, five ounces of “shatter” (a marijuana/THC liquid concentrate), along with quantities of marijuana/THC edibles, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a large quantity of cash.
Maciejewski was charged with Possession of Marijuana Over Five Pounds but Less than Twenty Five Pounds With the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Over Fifty Grams of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
he following agencies participated in this arrest: Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force; Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit; Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit; the Ocean Township Police Department — Detective Division and K-9 Unit; the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force; and the Lawrenceville Police Department.

Danny Haze I think alcohol is the scariest drug of all for many reasons and I agree that most of the “rules” set forth are profit driven but I see what happens to kids that sell pot and then move onto drugs with a higher profit margin because they get addicted to the fast money with very little work. I am a recovering addict and honestly I wish they were handing out medical marijuana instead of OxyContin 20 years ago but there was money to be made. I guess if the government could justify making heroin legal they would clean up amidst this epidemic but it’s way to often I see people here bitching about Narcan and saying drug addicts don’t deserve to be saved and then there is a pot bust and it’s a joke. There is so much wrong with many aspects of government but to me this is more about people’s attitude towards the drug world.

Even in places where it is legal this amount is STILL illegal, wouldn’t make a difference either way… Dispensaries aren’t going to lower their prices, more demand = higher prices… Vegas was about a grand an ounce when it first became legal, 400 in CO, put NJ higher when that time comes, then the tax, in Manatou Springs it’s almost 30% on top of regular state taxes… You’ll get it legalized but at a price…

I understand this man committed an illegal act, an for that alone he needs to be punished.
