FORKED RIVER – A township woman was arrested for a hit-and-run crash Jan. 26.
Celeste Flanagan, 55, of Forked River, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, refusal to submit to breath testing, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report a motor vehicle accident. She was released, but her vehicle was impounded as per John’s Law.
At 3:36 p.m. Jan. 26, Officer Noah Schaffer responded to the 600 block of Williams Avenue for a reported hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. Officers Scott Anderson and Andrew Slota also responded. An investigation led to the arrest of Flanagan. No other details were released.
