  Ocean County Scanner News exactly. Talk to mental health people, addiction counselors, they will tell you the programs do not have the funding. A thirty day program just isn’t enough but it’s all they have. If there is space available. My daughter had to call each place everyday to see if they had a bed, everyday she was told nope, try back tomorrow.

I have worked in the field. It’s sad but it’s all about politics, who you know and so on in order to get a bed somewhere right away. Especially if you have Medicaid or no insurance. It’s very sad!
