Dealers need to worry, that over-doses are now on their head.
Today, it was announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradely D Billhimer, that Cody Lessing, 26 of, pled guilty. The plea to two counts of 1st Degree Strict Liability Drug Induced Death was in response to the deaths of Keith Tandberg, 45 and James Tice Jr., 29. All were from Berkeley Township.
Lessing’s plea came before the Honorable Guy P. Ryan J.S.C under the prosecution by Supervising Assistant Prosecutors Patric Sheehan. Sentencing is scheduled to take place on April 24th, 2019.
Berkeley Township Police were dispatched to the residence of Tandberg on after his roommate found him unresponsive. Tandberg was D.O.A. and prounced at the residence. Less than 24 hours later Berkley Township Police responded to Tice Jr’s residence. Tice Jr. was found unresponsive by his father, and pronounced at the scene.
Athorough investigation showed it that Lessing sold Heroin to both Tandberg and Tice, Jr. just hours before each death. Subsequent toxicology reports revealed that both Tandberg and Tice, Jr. died as a result of the ingestion of the deadly substances Heroin (Monoacetylmorphine) and Fentanyl.
“As I have previously vowed, we are committed to the relentless pursuit and prosecution of all individuals selling illegal narcotics in Ocean County. The continuing presence of Fentanyl and the alarming rise in opioid related deaths require this approach. We are satisfied that Lessing has been brought to justice. Our sympathy lies with two families dealing with the tragic loss of a family member.” — Prosecutor Billhimer
This investigation was the work of detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office and the Berkeley Township Police Department.
Awesome news
Good..attack the dealers….
Good maybe this will stop people from becoming dealers remember everyone talks no one keeps quite anymore
Most aren’t dealers.. They are friends that are also addicts that merely pass the bags on.
Brandon Ebbs never thought of that u r absolutely right
Brandon Ebbs welp they best think twice. If u get it “FOR” someone don’t try to find a loophole, ur distributing drugs, illegal deadly drugs. Consequences, think of them.
Brandon Ebbs thats hardly a definition of a friend.
Karen Kennedy all the addicts I know, and many you and I know mutually, live their lives that way. One day one will have money and the next day the other will money. They support each others habits
Brandon Ebbs I’ve witnessed someone being jailed for helping someone get drugs then the dude died. Was when i worked at scoreboard. They were both ppl i went to school with. Idk why ppl mess with that shit. Smoke weed, stay away from the hard stuff.
Hang him
Great news

It’s about time. These dealers dont fo drugs cause they know drugs kill. They just make money off these poor kids, they should be responsible
Zigarelli Debbie false. most dealers sell to support their habit. they know it kills, they don’t care they just wanna make $$ for their next high
They are mostly addicts themselves. Deal small time to support their own habits.

Summer Marie shes a fiend

Good. I don’t feel bad for these dealers. Get the dirtbags off the street. I feel sorry for the addicts. There should be more programs to help them get clean, more assistance. They shouldnt have to subject themselves to buying dirty( fentanyl or arsenic laced) heroin. Ive never tried these drugs and never battled addiction, but addiction doesn’t discriminate. It can happen to doctors, lawyers, medical workers, nurses, professional people. It happens to the pastors son, kids from amazing families. It happens to the best of people for many different reasons. It comes with a stigma, shame, often people are way too afraid to ask for help. Fear of losing their jobs. Ruining their careers. They think they can control it, keep covering it up. There is so much shame involved. We have to work to end the stigma involved with addiction so people stop being afraid of asking for help. If we didnt judge people the way we do they may be more inclined to get help. Im not a social worker i dont know the answer. I just think that may be a step in the right direction.
your right and they know for a fact that they are practically handing them a gun to shoot themselves, do the dealers care, nope
About damn time
Just execute him
What was the sentence? did it happen yet?
Dont celebrate yet, let’s wait on that sentence first
