The Sierra Club has issued a statement Monday, saying the township must reject a “terrible project” proposed for the Eagle Ridge Golf Course. The new proposal will be heard at the 6pm Feb, 5th 2019 Lakewood Township Planning Board meeting.
The golf course was sold for development in 2017.
GDMS Holdings will present plans to build a mix of 1,000 single-family homes, duplexes, and basement apartments, on the former golf course. The development is named “The Parke,” which will include bike paths, parks and open space, multiple community centers, and local retail and amenities.

It’s been a terrible project from the get go but the almighty $$$ will prevail.
Denise Langone Howell Pettersen and they have plenty!!!!!
That’s all the Sierra Club does anymore. Used to be a decent organization similar to the Appalachian Mountain Club, but, unlike the Appalachian Mountain Club, they have strayed far from John Muirs vision. Should have stayed in Cali. Muir must be rolling over in his grave.
Rt.9 definitely needs another 1000 cars in it.Oh,since Brick is downstream, wait till the water dries up,oh well.
Lawless town.
