An Ocean County attorney and GOP leader was indicted by a federal grand jury for tax evasion, among other charges, the U.S. Attorney New Jersey District Office reported.
George Gilmore, 69, of Toms River, was charged with one count of income tax evasion for calendar years 2013, 2014, and 2015; two counts of filing false tax returns for calendar years 2013 and 2014; failing to collect, account for, and pay over payroll taxes for two quarters in 2016, and making false statements on a 2015 loan application submitted to Ocean First Bank N.A.
He is accused of evading more than $1 million in taxes.

Now go after the existing council who also has strong ties to him. Millions of dollars he was skimming from people. His expenses were en excess of 2.5million. More dominos will fall and maybe that is what Toms River needs to get the corruption out.
