Recently we made a post about kids having hopped the fence at the partially renovated Bernard J. Cooke Memorial park.
While most the park remains in tatters, having recently been torn down to allow for new features and a new layout the majority of the Skate Park was finished in November.
Since our last post, a new fence has been erected around the skate-park section of the park, but as you can see from these pictures, not even the additional fencing is seeming to keep the “kids” out.

So my question to you is this. Do you think the kids will continue to flow in once the park is fully completed? And why are we so behind the times that when we finally build these amenities, kids are willing to risk fines by hopping fences to use them?
I love the skate park! It backs right up to my back yard and I always get great gifts of empty beer cans littering on my yard plus my young kids are learning new curse words on a daily basis! Great job Brick! ?
