The Toms River School District will have a referendum for a package of about $100 million in capital improvements on Jan. 22.
The money will be bonded, and paid off over a number of years, Superintendent David Healy said. It would be a cost of about $4-10 a month for the average home depending on what town they live in.

The schools are falling apart and tons River spends the 30th fewest per student in the state. Only three other districts in the bottom 50 are above 3,000 students. Toms rivers enrollment is over 15k. Toms River also had one of the worst pay rates for teachers in the area. You want America to be great again start spending money on the next generation’s education.
