I’m moving back tgen
No
That’s a lot of gateways that potentially get people addicted to smack and roofies.
you have a good point , this is coming about at a time when Heroin and other drugs have become or returned to cause a lot of trouble with people here
Bull crap
In a paper published in Trends in Neurosciences earlier this year (3), neuroscientist Yasmin Hurd – whose own research indicates that CBD reduces heroin cravings and restores neurobiological damage – blames the reluctance to acknowledge CBD’s effectiveness on the scientific community’s exclusion from policymaking discourse. “Legalization has outpaced the science… This is one of the first times in US history that the question of whether a plant (or any drug) is an effective medicine has been decided at the ballot box”
Elisa Blasucci I agree
Tony Pirozzi maybe because ppl in chronic pain get turned away from their meds. Even tho 99 per cent never abuse their meds. So apparently those in agony turn to the streets.
Lynette Wright Hennelly instead we go after people who need their medicine and then feel bad for junkies who don’t want to help themselves.
Clueless you two are.
Can’t argue facts.
Many people who have been prescribed opiates have gotten addicted. They end up using heroin bc it’s cheaper and/or when their pill allotment doesn’t suffice any longer.
A pill popper is an addict (junkie) just as a heroin user is an addict.
Addiction is not as simple as someone not wanting to help themselves.
Fyi… 99% of people?? You legit pulled that # out of your arse. Many people abuse their pills. Ergo, the reason so many get cut off from said pills.
Sharon Lynn Huber What about the people I know who do it for recreational purposes? Should I feel bad?
I visit out west , I’m for it if my property taxes will be reduced, but I see the Democratic machine who reaps the benefits, higher crime, sales tax higher than here, car registration is $400.00/year for an average car, car ins high, property taxes n homes high, we will have illegals w licenses most w/o car ins it will only benefit thepot smokers I also saw since out west is liberal, tent cities on the sides of highways ( mostly meth heads not weed heads) pix of a weed store in WA state they r everywhere, brownies, candies, diff grades of pot most very strong unlike the “dirtweed” of the 60 s and 70 s….
Groovy let me get my Pink Floyd albums ready,
More caos instead of sobriety and maturity in the state. Dont we have enough to deal with-now we are adding high on drugs to the list of accessible and Okay???
It already is accessible
RevTracie Plungis honestly alcohol is easy more dangerous. And it’s chaos in assuming you meant.
Jesus made it.
Do research on the benefits, though. Maybe educate yourself instead of sounding like a turd
Your insults on my educated opinion are proving my point so please… keep insilulting me instead of listing your educated opinion here along with mine. I have seen the effects proven statistics of drugs and alcohol in more lives than you are aware of. Peace.
Lol high on drugs. Yes because drunk people destroying their livers. Driving drunk and taking the lives of people while driving behind the wheel domestic abuse and ruining family’s is so much better than getting stoned bieng to lazy to get up to go the fridge and make food and drive so you order out. And hes because cannabis has so many bad effects. Over eating great beauty sleep and peace destroying of cancer cells and helping multiple mental and physical disorders. But by all means let’s not tax alcohol and use it for state funding in multiple places yanno.
Yes
Ok people.against it. Lets.ban tobacco.and alcohol also!!! These two will kill you faster than MJ will!
I think we should make Heroin illegal so people won’t do drugs.
Randy Brewer it is illegal..
Linda Marie ok.. sounds good…
Linda Marie can you point me to one fact that says marijuana is safer than tobacco?
No!
Danny Scarpati I worked in healthcare for over 10 years and have seen the damage that tobacco and alcohol can do. Not one case of MJ causing anything.
Danny marijuana has never once in the history of the world given somebody cancer and killed them
If anything it helps fight cancer.
Danny is just one of those idiots that still think reefer madness was real, it’s far more healthy and safe for you then most foods people eat now and days not to mention isnt gonna kill you like alcohol which is sold legally but that’s totally fine
Well they tried making alcohol illegal but that didn’t work and the same thing is happening with MJ it was legal early in our country’s history then it became illegal because of political reasons and now it is slowly becoming legal again lol
Ppl in chronic pain may finally be able to get away from opiods. A good thing all around. Look at other states where it’s legal. Helps with taxes also. And FYI it isn’t a gateway drug. Geesh. Do ur homework. And also it will keep ppl out of jail. Which we all pay for. Serious drug users won’t change but I’m for legalizing.
Agreed. Even like pain medication such as gabapentin , which has psych effects if you stop taking, is bad for you
Gabapentin is being abused also!!
Not going to happen. Murphy used this to sucker fools into voting for him now they have no reason to follow through. Maybe for the next election. Stay stupid…..
“Legalizing marijuana in my first 100 days”… how many 100 days later?
Ridiculous…
Talk to me when you lose a sibling to a “pot” driver……. alcohol 1000 times worse
NO
Society will change for the positive! Opioid consumption will change for those who need this beautiful PLANT! Non believers you know where u can go! Education and compassion looks better on people then stupidity and judgement!
States that have legalized it have seen a drop in opioid users!! That in itself is worth it. Add to the what the taxes can do and maybe embracing this would be better
Yes
Medical would b fine
It’s still a DUI people
True but point is alcohol much worse….
