Brick: News was broke a few weeks ago by Jersey Shore Online that a medical marijuana facility was proposed for Brick Township at 385 Adamston Road. There is a town meeting planned THIS Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Complex.
My position as an advocate is the area needs one desperately as people like myself need to travel 2 hours currently. Residents aren’t against it, but one contacted the page in support of one at the Industrial Park instead.
Should be an interesting meeting, and the public is urged to attend and voice your opinions.

This is not where it is proposed. It’s proposed at 385 Adamston, which is a few doors down from Dottie’s house which is a battered women’s shelter, head start which is a preschool, the arc of ocean county for handicapped people, the vfw, and many many homes. I don’t think abused women, little children, some vets, and homeowners want this here. Move to a more commercial or industrial spot. Jack Martin blvd, or industrial park. I spoke with some of the cops around here and it’s impossible t safely secure 6 acres of land backing up to state land. It’s impossible no matter how many cameras they have. They will just watch the place get robbed. It will be a nightmare for the residents surrounding this.
