Today at approximately 0430 hours station 11 was dispatched to the report of a vehicle fire in the area of Lower Shore road. While Chief 1100 and Assistant Chief 1110 were enroute, Ocean County advised they were getting multiple reports now. Chief 1100 arrived on scene and reported a working tractor-trailer fire. Engine-tanker 1101 arrived first due and deployed 2 hand lines with foam. Rescue-engine 1103 and Mini-pumper 1112 responded to assistant with man power and extinguishment as well. The fire was quickly extinguished and the scene was turned over to The Ocean county fire Marshals. Also a thank you to Barnegat First Aid Squad, Inc. for responding.
